Instead, I thought that I would share this video.
I finally had the chance to join Maya for one of her climbing sessions. I can't tell you what it means to see Maya make her way up this wall. As I wiped away the tears, I tried not to embarrass her, but it was all I could do to not scream and jump up and down. Yes, Maya can't walk or stand on her own, but she can climb....
We still have a ton of work ahead of us, but for now, I share this moment with you.
